Your work is always such a gift…so beautiful, TQ, Catherine. XXXXX
Thanks Barbara x
Oh Catherine this touched my heart and soul on so many levels…your stunning pictures are such colorful gifts and then the words brought me back to my childhood when I would run to the water as soon as we hit the beach….I miss being near the water. And then these struck a chord in light of what is going on in the world today. Bart bliss, part sadness but very moving emotions flowing now!
Thank you dear Donna…..I felt the very same….love those haunting words. x
Such beautiful words and images to hold in my heart and mind's eye as I head off for a very challenging day of institutional visits. Thank you.
I hope a little of the light and beauty of Kerry keep you company on your way, many thanks:~)
One of my favorite poems by Yeats. I remember first reading those lines while I was writing my thesis about him and my breath catching in my throat. Every time I get lonely for Ireland, I just visit your pictures- thanks Catherine!
This post & photos are so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Along with featuring one of my favorite poems by Yeats, your post is so sumptuous, a reminder of those last golden moments of summer. Thank you for your always soul-nourishing writing & photos.

Ah thanks….Yeats is the man…..
Your images always seem more and more beautiful to me… and with the words of Yeats, so moving. Ireland is not only green but purple and red. Gorgeous!

that first picture steps into magic and the colours sing strong and clear on the inner curve, with a gentle echo around the wider bend.
