December dusk from my window

When it is over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.

I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.
-Mary Oliver

Dusk light with the reflections of the still twinkling lights of the Christmas tree..........I am beginning to re-emerge from hibernation.....Thank you all for your true support and kindness....

  2. Amiga,
    Suas fotos estão muito bonitas.
Espero que o ano novo venha recheado de muita paz e dias melhores para todos.

    ▒♥ Boas Festas!!!
    ▒♥ Feliz 2012 !!!

  3. One of the things I really love about winter is seeing the bare branches of the tress black against the sunset - the more fiery the sunset the better.

  4. Trees are beautiful even without their leaves! And the colors of the sky are incredible! I also always look at my garden after I open my eyes. I can see a big piece of the garden.
I hope you are having a happy Holiday Season!

  5. Beautiful with those twinkling lights. As in "It's a Wonderful Life" even those of us that just visit this world for a while have a greater impact than we realize. Glad to hear you are coming out of hibernation.

  6. Trees are great any time of the year, they always fill me with a feeling of inspiration, peace and awe. Winter silhouette's are no exception, emphasising natures artistic movement and growth of the bare structure of trunks and branches. I love your special effects with reflective christmas lights, a lovely touch for a reflective time of year.

  7. lovely pics... it a great time for photography... http://bit.ly/uQFaTN

  8. I am also beginning to re-emerge.
Great photos, I thought the reflections were orbs at first.

  9. Those lights among the winter limbs express it well. We welcome you back.

  10. Lovely December lights and sky...healing takes time and requires hibernation...glad to hear you are emerging...

  11. Oh, the dark black branches before a gorgeous purple sky . . . stunning! I love Mary Oliver and that quote. Wishing you a Strong, Healthy and Happy New Year!

  12. More magical pictures and words that meant a lot to me right now xx

  13. Still in semi-hibernation in Arigna.
Wishing you and yours a happy, peaceful and contented 2012.
    Happy New Year!
