Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around a lake

Some mysterious things go on in the world. Many that most of us don't expect, support or buy into. While we all have to mull over and face up to our fair share, it is often hard to find solutions to the myriad of problems that absorb us. Foxglove Lane is an oasis from that place ; no politics, no economics no pessimism, no solutions are on offer.

Wallace Stevens said "Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around a lake." Some days that's about the size of it and meeting a small frog along the way can really help.......

  1. That's a lovely lake you have there - beautiful photos - obviously some very deep thinking going on - hope the frog helped.

  5. Such beautiful pics...especially liking the sunset one. Nature always has a similar effect on me...it soothes the brain...calms the nerves...and above all brings all else into perspective.

  12. I like the beautiful isolation of communing with nature. Sometimes it seems as if the rest of the world cannot touch me with its cynicism and destructive politics. I know all of these things have their place, but, most of the time, I would rather not be around it. I love your place through your photos...just loverly!
