Just a few seconds of listening to lakeside grasses, birds and art.....

Sitting by the lake on a summer's day, just listening to the silence.........you hear the grass grow, the breezes singing and the birds telling us their stories. Sometimes it's nice to just let them speak for themselves.......

And I suppose it's the same for painting.........

  1. Foxglove Lane, I liked sitting at your lake this morning and listening to the sounds of nature. It made me longing for more... Maybe we go out for a hike this weekend!

  2. Well I love that, but can the hike be in California please, hehe, don't think you would fancy the changeable weather here too much. Glorious sun followed by rain every few minutes and so on and so on!!

  6. Thank you all for the encouragement. Has got me thinking about listening, rather than just looking, which I suppose is what the clip is trying to do.........Interesting all the different soundtracks to our lives, X Ca

  7. A post to stimulate the senses...beautiful paintings. They certainly give the feeling of the brushes of grasses.

  8. I love your paintings!! The sounds of nature are inside of me. I hardly play music these days. We do have a long winter . . . I will enjoy human music then.
